Winter’s former guardians had good intentions, but could no longer care for him and stated he was too aggressive to handle. Now, safe at O&F for many years, Winter is free to live a life of his choosing — and he prefers one where he’s able to strut his stuff and keep an eye on the sanctuary going ons . Winter is bossy around his companion Stephen but has never shown aggression to his human caregivers here.

He’s charming, flirtatious, and knows he is exceedingly handsome. He never shies away from showing off for anyone watching and his feather display and strut are truly breathtaking. Winter loves cranberries and salad greens best, but is often too busy showing off to pause for snacks when people are watching. Winter lives his life on his terms in safety and love, as all beings deserve.
