Did you know horses horse and donkey hooves are made from the same protein as human hair and fingernails? They also communicate their feelings through facial expressions, place high importance on vocalization and can see better than humans in the dark!

As you know, Oliver and Friends runs entirely off generous donations… and caring for horses and donkeys can be expensive. The average cost to feed a horse or donkey is more than $1000.00 annually, plus veterinary visits and procedures—among other needs.

If you want to help support our horses or donkeys, you can make a monthly sponsorship donation of $75 or an annual donation of $900. This fund provides the opportunity for us to save more horses and donkeys, and to give the best possible care to the horses and donkeys already in our family!

As a bonus, if you choose to sponsor one of our horses or donkeys… You will receive a postcard with a picture of the animal you sponsor and an invitation to a free exclusive sponsors event hosted on the farm.
