Camel
Camel
Did you know camels’ humps don’t actually contain water? Their humps store fat which can be converted into food or water when needed! They are also extremely social animals, and can take 1 to 2 years to gain independence after birth.
As you know, Oliver and Friends runs entirely off generous donations… and caring for camels can be expensive. The average cost to feed a camel is more than $3000 annually, plus veterinary visits and procedures—among other needs.
If you want to help support our camels, you can make a monthly sponsorship donation of $75 or an annual donation of $900. This fund provides the opportunity for us to save more camels, and to give the best possible care to the cows already in our family!
As a bonus, if you choose to sponsor one of our camels… You will receive a postcard with a picture of the animal you sponsor and an invitation to a free exclusive sponsors event hosted on the farm.
You want to make this donation in someone’s honor or memory? You can submit their name and contact information at checkout!
*All donations are tax deductible.
